Brandy Gibbs

Brandy Gibbs is a native Austinite, 6th generation Texan, 3rd generation Longhorn, professional chef, and entrepreneur. Brandy established Fine Home Dining, a boutique catering service specializing in custom cuisine for cocktail parties, intimate dinners, special celebrations and every occasion in between.  

Brandy received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas. Through her political and fundraising work in Washington, D.C., Brandy found her creative outlet in the kitchen.  Her love of cooking and its role in community building and memory-making led Brandy to further her culinary education. She studied her craft at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, cooking cuisines from around the globe and eating her way through the Bay Area.

Brandy worked alongside Paul Bocuse-trained French Chef Fabrice Marcon at Hyde Street Bistro in San Francisco. She was drawn to the warmth and seafood of the islands, cooking at the 5-diamond Pier House Resort Restaurant in Key West, Florida. Back home in Texas, Brandy was pastry chef at Tocai Wine bar and managed catering for the Kitchen Door while growing Fine Home Dining through word of mouth and tasteful dinners since 2000.

Brandy is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Austin and an active member of Les Dames de Escoffier, a philanthropic organization for women in food & hospitality.

 

Tabatha Stephens

Tabatha grew up in Rockwall, Texas surrounded by the wonderful cooks in her family. She moved to Austin to go to UT and never left!  Tabatha decided to pursue a culinary career, attending culinary school and working in the local food community. She has excelled at cooking and managing cooks at many wonderful places around town including Asti, Dai Due, and Trio.

Tabatha is one of our stellar event chefs at Fine Home Dining.  She runs her own personal chef business, Nourish.

Karissa Lucio

Karissa Lucio is a Texas native with a passion for food and nutrition.. Her love of food and cooking has led her on a path in the culinary arts.  Karissa can be found prepping in the FHD kitchen and providing on-point food & service at our private events.

Karissa studied Human Nutrition at Ohio State University. She cooks at the Paleo café Picnik, and is also a registered dietician.

Fran Reynolds

Fine Home Dining is proud to have Fran Reynolds on our service team.  Fran exemplifies all of the qualities in a true service professional.  He is available to manage events, bartend and provide impeccable service.

Fran began his career in service in upstate New York, starting as a busboy and leaving as General Manager.  Fran has  traveled as a corporate restaurant trainer, and owned and operated two restaurants in Dallas.  Fran has been managing upscale catering in Austin since 1995.

Fran provides party rentals for FHD, including unique serving ware, silver and several lines of plates, glasses and flatware.

Lorne R. Laurant

Lorne brings his 20+ years of experience to FHD from New Orleans, where he worked at the Monteleone Hotel, Fairmont Hotel, Brennan’s and the House of Blues, to name a few. Since arriving in Austin, he has worked at the W Hotel, Perla's Seafood Restaurant, Jasper's in the Domain and presently The Roaring Fork and Fine Home Dining.

Tia McLeroy 

Tia was born and raised in the Austin area and has always had an affinity for cooking.  She began cooking under the instruction of her father, and has been working in the industry since graduating high school.  She received her associates degree in culinary arts with a focus on desserts and pastry.  She has served as the head pastry chef for Jasper's, The Whole Enchilada Restaurant Group including 34th Street Catering, and Winflo Osteria. Tia currently works as a sous chef for the University of Texas. 

Tia brings her talents as an Event Chef for Fine Home Dining dinners and parties.

Jasmine Jones

Jasmine hails from Maine, where baking was a constant. After graduating with a music degree from Boston University, Jasmine moved to Austin and found her affinity for pastry. Jasmine baked at Vespaio with Barrie Cullinan, following as her baking assistant at Amity Bakery.  Jasmine was later pastry chef at Lenoir before opening her own catering bakery in 2014.

I Knead That provides many of the breads, sweets, doughs and custom cakes for FHD dinner and party menus.

Racheal Fontenot Reina

Racheal is a service manager at Fine Home Dining dinners and events.  Hailing from New Orleans, she has an affinity for customer service and truly loves the interaction around food and dining.  Racheal holds a Business degree and spent 24 years with Whole Foods Market in a variety of service roles.

Mia E. Pem

Mia has been in the Fine Home Dining family since 2011.  She has myriad experience in events and production in the arts and hospitality industry since 1994.

Mia brings her skills to Fine Home Dining as an Event Manager, serving with a commitment to simplicity, nourishment and pleasure. 

"I enjoy being attentive, flexible, compassionate, and organized. Along with my production experience, I utilize my study of dance and my teaching experience for tending to the environment and our guests with spatial awareness, anticipation of needs and an eye for beauty.
 

Mary DeRosa

Mary's fine dining experience began at the historic Mohonk Mountain House Resort in New Paltz, NY.  

Mary comes from a big family that was always gathered at the table and she delights in seeing family and friends come together through food and celebration.

While a teacher in Austin for 8 years, Mary worked private catering events and could be seen at the Evangeline Café.  Mary transitioned from teacher to entrepreneur as co-founder of Elementary Box.

Mary brings her lovely presence and work ethic to many Fine Home Dining occasions.
